K E M C School

The K E M C School is located in Kuttikode, which falls under the Trikkaderi Post area. It is a quiet corner of the world, mostly. We have a modest setup here, nothing too grand. We spend our days making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be and that the building is holding up well. It’s a simple life at the school. We don’t have a lot of high-tech gadgets or fancy rugs. Most of our furniture is well-used and shows a bit of wear, but it’s sturdy. The people around Trikkaderi are good neighbors, and we feel like we fit right in. In the mornings, you can hear the kids arriving from all directions. We try to keep a friendly atmosphere without being too formal about it. If someone needs something, they usually just walk up and ask. We handle our own repairs when we can and keep the garden patches from getting too overgrown. It is a lot of manual work sometimes, but it’s satisfying to see the place full of life. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know that we have a job to do every morning when we open the doors. Kuttikode is a small place, and we like that everyone knows each other. It makes the school feel more like a big family than a business, which is exactly how we want it to be.
