Shri Ram Transformer & Switchgears

Our workshop is situated in the IPIA area, specifically on Road Number 6 at G-1/329 E. This is an industrial part of the city, so the surroundings are mostly other factories and large units. We work with transformers and switchgears, which involves a lot of heavy lifting and technical assembly. The shop floor is usually covered in copper clippings and various metal parts. It’s a noisy environment because of the machinery and the trucks that are constantly passing by on the main road. We’ve been operating from this same spot for many years. It is not a place for retail shoppers, as our work is mostly for other industrial clients who need specific electrical equipment. We have a small area in the front that serves as an office, but it’s mostly filled with technical drawings and old files. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so you can really hear the rain when it pours. We don't have a formal reception or a polished waiting area. If someone comes by, they usually just find us in the back working on a unit. The hours can be long depending on the orders we have. It’s a lot of manual labor combined with technical knowledge. We just focus on the job at hand and try to keep everything organized enough to find our tools. This is our daily routine in the heart of the industrial zone.
