If you walk into Shopping Centre 5, you will find us tucked between a dry cleaner and a small snack stall. Our shop, Rahul Electrotech Pvt Ltd, is usually a bit of a mess with wires and boxes of switches everywhere. We try to keep things organized, but when people come in asking for specific industrial components or just a simple light bulb, everything gets moved around. The ceiling fan hums all day, and there is always a stack of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to explain how a certain fuse works to a customer who is a bit confused. It is not a large space, so when three or four people are inside at once, it feels very crowded. We drink a lot of tea while we work, mostly from the guy who walks around the shopping center with a kettle. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy moving inventory to worry about that. Being in a shopping center means we see the same faces every day, which is nice. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the board above the door. It is a quiet life, mostly focused on getting the right electrical bits to the people who need them.
