Star Batteries Services

Star Batteries Services is tucked away in the Shopping Centre at Vigyan Nagar 3-S, specifically at G-93. It’s not the biggest shop in the complex, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of our day is spent surrounded by black plastic casings and the smell of acid and lead. It’s a messy job, and our hands are usually stained with grease or dust from handling all the old batteries people bring in. When a car or a bike won't start, people usually find their way to our door. We spend a lot of time testing things and seeing if a battery can be saved or if it’s just done for. The Shopping Centre is usually pretty busy with people running errands, so there’s always a bit of background noise from the street. We’ve got stacks of new batteries on one side and the ones we’re working on on the other. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially with the sun hitting the front of the shop, but we just keep the fan running and keep working. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just fixing what's broken and making sure people can get their vehicles back on the road. It’s a straightforward business, and we like it that way. If you walk past G-93, you'll probably see us bent over a workbench.
