Soni Battery Service

Our shop is out on IPIA Road No 6, right in the middle of all the industrial activity. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the big trucks going by all day, so we are constantly wiping down the batteries on the shelves. Most of our day is spent looking at terminals, checking acid levels, or hooking up chargers to see if a battery still has any life left in it. It is honest work that leaves your hands a bit greasy by lunch time. We have been in this spot for a while now. The space is filled with heavy black boxes and thick cables tangled up on the wooden workbench. When someone comes in with a dead car battery, we take a look and tell them if it can be fixed or if they need a new one. There is no point in sugarcoating it. The noise from the road is constant, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Sometimes we sit on the small stools out front when it’s slow, just watching the traffic go by. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the heavy lifting. It’s mostly local drivers and workers from the nearby factories who drop in. We don't do anything fancy with the decor, just some sturdy metal racks and a good light over the repair bench. Road No 6 is a practical place, and that’s how we run things here too. It is just a regular workshop.
