Mittal Udyog

Mittal Udyog is located over at F-474 in the IPIA area. Being in an industrial zone means our daily life is shaped by the sounds of sirens and the rattling of heavy machinery from the neighboring units. Our unit isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a large functional building with a big door for the materials to come in and out. Inside, it’s mostly open space filled with the tools and equipment we need for our daily tasks. We spend the bulk of our time on the floor, managing the production and making sure the machines are running like they should. It gets quite dusty, and by the end of a shift, everyone is usually ready for a good wash. We have a small corner with a table where we eat our lunch and have tea, but the rest of the place is all business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because that's not what we're about. We’re here to produce what our customers need and get it shipped out on time. The routine is the same most days: we open up early, check the machines, and get to work. It’s a practical way to make a living, and we’ve been at F-474 for a good while now, so we know the rhythm of the place pretty well.
