Rahul Transformers

We are based at IPIA Road No 4, over at plot E-50. This is a real industrial area, so there is always a lot of smoke, dust, and the sound of heavy trucks moving around. Our workshop isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s a large shed with a high ceiling and a lot of heavy lifting equipment. We spend our days working on transformers, fixing coils, and dealing with all that thick insulating oil. It’s a messy job and our clothes are usually stained by the end of the shift. The concrete floor has some cracks from moving the heavy units around over the years. We have a small office corner with a wooden desk where we keep the paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the floor with the tools. The heat gets pretty bad in the middle of the day, especially with the metal roof, but we have a couple of large industrial fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and we know most of the other workshop owners on Road No 4. It’s hard work, and sometimes the components are stubborn, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that, we just focus on getting the repairs done so the power can stay on. We have some old wooden crates where we sit during our breaks.
