Over at Road No 5 in the Indraprastha Industrial Area, or IPIA as everyone calls it, you’ll find our workshop, PrakashTransformers. This isn't like the grocery shops you see everywhere else. We are located at G 250, and our day is filled with the smell of transformer oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We deal with electrical components and repairs. The floor is often covered in bits of copper wire and heavy tools are scattered across the workbenches. It’s a tough environment, Nayapura is always loud with industrial activity. We spend most of our time winding coils or checking the insulation on old units that have been brought in for fixing. It’s greasy work and our hands are rarely clean. We don't have a fancy showroom; people come here because they have a specific technical problem that needs solving. The trucks are constantly moving in and out of the industrial area, bringing in broken equipment or taking away finished jobs. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s a practical business built on knowing how things work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the equipment, look at what’s wrong, and get to work fixing it so it can go back into service. It’s a vital part of keeping the local industry running.
