Plxels

In Vigyan Nagar, our shop Plxels is where we do all our work with cameras and prints. It’s a bit of a different kind of job because we spend a lot of time sitting in front of computer screens. The room always smells a little bit like warm electronics and paper. We have a few different printers that make various noises throughout the day, depending on what we are making. People bring us their old photos that are starting to fade, or they want us to take new ones for their documents. It’s located in Dha-5, and it’s a decent enough spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache for people sometimes. We have some samples of our work hanging on the walls, but they’ve been there so long the colors are starting to change. We try to keep up with the new digital stuff, but it changes so fast it’s hard to keep everything in stock. Most of our day is just clicking through files and making sure the ink hasn't run out mid-job. It’s not a very big shop, just enough room for a counter and the equipment in the back. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back on before we can finish anything. It’s a steady pace, and we like being part of the neighborhood here in Vigyan Nagar. It is just a small place for people to get their pictures sorted.
