Mousam Shoppee

If you find yourself near Ghodewala Circle, you can see Mousam Shoppee at the Shopping Centre, specifically at number 388. It’s a corner of the world where people stop by for all sorts of small needs. We have a bit of everything crammed into the shelves. It’s one of those places where you might come in for one thing and see something else you forgot you needed. The Shopping Centre stays pretty active and Ghodewala Circle is always a landmark for people giving directions. We keep the doors open and the lights on from morning till late evening. It’s not a big corporate outlet, just a local shop where we do everything ourselves. We sweep the floor in the morning and stack the new stock when it arrives on the rickshaws. Sometimes the labels are a bit crooked on the shelves but we know where everything is. People stop by to ask for directions or just to escape the sun for a minute while they buy a cold drink. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit cluttered but that’s just how we like it because it means we have plenty of stuff for everyone who walks in. We have some toys, some household plastic items, and some stationery too. We just keep it simple and stay busy with the local crowd that comes by the Ghodewala Circle area every single afternoon.
