Yasin Travel

We run Yasin Travel out of Dakshinpara in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area. It is a quiet enough spot, right near the Muslim Burial Centre, which is a big landmark around here. People use that to find us all the time because the small lanes can be a bit confusing if you aren't from this part of Kolkata. We opened up here because we saw that folks in the neighborhood needed a place to sort out their travel plans without having to go all the way into the city center. It is just a simple shop. Nothing too flashy. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while we look up flights or train seats. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, but that’s just how it goes. We know most of the families around Dakshinpara by now. A lot of our work comes from people telling their cousins or neighbors about us. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just try to be honest about what things cost and how long the journeys take. It is a family-run kind of thing. On rainy days, the street gets a bit muddy, but we are always open. We just stay here, drink some tea, and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s a humble place, but it works for us and the people who live nearby. It is just regular work for regular people.
