You can find us on the first floor of the Binnany Buildings, right on Woodburn Park Road. Discovery Travels Tours is basically a room full of computers, travel brochures, and people talking on the phone. The office is often a bit messy with notes scribbled on pads and maps pinned to the walls. We spend our time trying to figure out flight connections and hotel bookings for people who want to see the world. It isn't always glamorous work; there is a lot of waiting on hold and fixing small mistakes in names or dates. Having been in this building for a while, we have grown to like the neighborhood and its character. When someone walks in, they usually have a dream of a vacation, and we do our best to make the paperwork side of that dream less of a headache. We are a small group that simply knows how to find a good route. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all have to scramble, or a flight gets canceled and we stay late to sort it out. That is just the way the travel business goes. We don't promise the world, but we try to get you to your destination without too much trouble. It involves a lot of typing and talking, but hearing the stories when people come back makes it worth it. Those stories make the long office days feel okay and keep us motivated.
