Jalandhar Singh

My name is Jalandhar Singh and I’ve been working out of Ramkrishna Pally for quite some years. The shop is on Pathagarh Road in Panihati. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the rains can make the road a bit messy. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers taking on whatever work comes our way. People in the neighborhood know where to find me if they need something done. The workshop is small and filled with tools and bits of material I’ve kept over the time. I like to keep things simple and honest. I don't use big words or make promises I can't keep. If a job is going to take three days, I say three days. Sometimes it takes four if something goes wrong. That’s just how it is. My family lives nearby, so I’m always around the area. I've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but my way of working stays the same. I don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings while I'm busy, it might take a minute for me to answer. I prefer talking to people face to face anyway. It's a small life here in Panihati, but it keeps me busy and the bills paid. I just focus on the task at hand and try to do it right.
