The Himachal Tour

Our office is tucked away on the first floor of Chhedi Plaza, specifically at Shop 108 3 on Chandni Chowk Street. Being right near Sabir'S Hotel makes it easy for people to find us when they are out walking. We spend most of our time talking about the mountains and trying to figure out the best routes for people who want to head up north. It is usually pretty loud outside with all the traffic and people on the street, but inside we just focus on the phone calls and the booking schedules. We have a lot of maps and notes pinned up around the desk. Planning trips involves a lot of checking on bus timings and making sure the hotels have space available. We started this because we liked the area ourselves, and now it is just our daily job to get others there. Some days are just constant typing and checking prices on the screen. It is not a very big shop, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for when people come in to chat about their plans. We don’t do anything too fancy here, just basic travel stuff and trying to make sure the dates line up right for everyone. It is a steady way to spend the day in this part of town. We just handle the details and keep the records straight so that people can get where they need to go without any extra trouble.
