Travel 365

Our office is located at 64/11B Suren Sarkar Road. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our small sign. Travel 365 is where we handle a lot of the travel stuff for people in the neighborhood. It’s mostly just sitting at desks with a couple of computers and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. We spend hours looking at flight schedules and train timings. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait while the page loads. It’s not a fancy travel lounge, just a regular office with maps on the wall and piles of brochures that are starting to curl at the edges. People come in to ask about tickets to see their relatives or for a quick holiday. We do a lot of typing and checking passport details to make sure everything is correct. If we make a mistake on a name, it’s a big headache, so we have to be careful. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit on while we print out their itineraries. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and start answering emails. Suren Sarkar Road is a familiar place for us, and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day.
