Vidyasagar College Of Optometry Vision Science

Our college is located at 470 Rajdanga Sarat Park, which is right near the Siemens building in East Kolkata Township. This place is all about teaching optometry and vision science. It is not just a regular school; we have students here all day learning how to check eyes and work with different lenses. The area around Rajdanga is pretty active, so there is always something happening outside. Inside, it is a mix of classrooms and rooms where we have the equipment for eye testing. The students come from all over the city to study here. It is a bit of a walk from some of the main transport spots, but being near Siemens makes it easier for people to find us. We don't go in for big speeches about education; we just get on with the lessons and the practical work. Vision science is a lot more hands-on than people think, so there is a lot of time spent in the labs. The building is tucked into the Sarat Park area, so it feels a little bit removed from the main road noise. It is a decent place to spend the day studying. We have been here for a bit now and have seen many groups of students pass through. It is not a huge campus, but it has what is needed for the classes. We focus on the basics of eye care and making sure the students know their stuff.
