Global Educare

You can find us at Shop No. 8A on K.B. Basu Road in Barasat. It is a small shop squeezed between a grocery store and a place that sells mobile phones. We have been here for a couple of years now. Inside, it is mostly just shelves full of books and a few tables where students can sit and talk to us. We help out with educational planning and tutoring for kids in the neighborhood. Barasat is always loud and crowded, so there is a constant hum of activity coming from the street outside our door. We do not have an air conditioner, so we just leave the door open to get a breeze, even if it brings in some dust. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in the corners. We do not have any fancy brochures or big advertisements. Most people just see our sign when they are walking to the market and pop in to ask a question. We spend a lot of time writing things down in notebooks and checking schedules on an old laptop that takes forever to start up. It is a simple place for people who need some help with school or college stuff. We like being part of the local community here on K.B. Basu Road. It is not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy and we feel like we are doing something useful for the students.
