Shiksha Marg

Shiksha Marg is located at J- 100 Baishnab Ghata Patuli Township. We are quite close to the Khudiram Metro, which makes it easy for people to find us. The building is a regular township house, and we have set up the rooms for the work we do. There are some wooden tables and a lot of chairs packed into the space. We have a big whiteboard on the main wall that is usually covered in notes and diagrams. It is a quiet place for the most part, except when the Metro trains rumble by nearby. We have stacks of papers and books piled up in the corners. It is not a corporate office; it feels more like a lived-in space where people come to learn. The windows stay open when the weather is nice to get a breeze through. We have a small area where people can leave their bags and shoes. Most of the people who come here are from the local neighborhood or take the train in. We do not have fancy signs or big posters outside. Just a small nameplate by the door. We spend our days going through lessons and checking work. It gets a bit busy in the evenings when everyone arrives at once. We usually have some tea around five and take a short break before the next group starts. It is a steady routine we have been following here in Patuli for a while now, just teaching.
