Being at the Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology is quite an experience. It’s a massive campus, and there is always something going on. We are part of the daily life here, tucked into one of the buildings. You see students everywhere, some stressed out about their labs and others just hanging out near the canteen. The atmosphere is very academic, but it’s also just a lot of old brick buildings and long hallways. We handle the technical and administrative side of things. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. The desks are usually covered in files and there is a constant hum of computers and ceiling fans. We’ve been working here for quite some time, so we’ve seen many generations of students pass through. Some days it’s really quiet, like during the summer break when the campus feels almost empty. But then the new semester starts and everything gets loud and busy again. The tea stalls near the main gate are where we usually end up for a break. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more of a community. We just keep the wheels turning behind the scenes so the institute can do its thing. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s also nice being around so much energy. We just show up, do our tasks, and navigate the huge campus day after day. It’s honest, steady work in a place that’s always moving forward, even if the building feels like it's from another time.
