Umika Study Hub

People usually find us on the second floor of the Samcity Business Complex. It’s right there on Ultadanga Bidhan Nagar Road, which gets pretty loud during the day with all the traffic. We’ve been here at Umika Study Hub for a bit now. If you walk up the stairs, it gets a lot quieter than the street outside. We have some desks set up and chairs that we try to keep organized, though sometimes books end up piled in the corners. The lighting is okay, and we keep the fans running when it gets hot in the afternoons. Most people who come here are just looking for a spot where nobody will bother them while they read or do their work. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular space with some walls and some peace. Sometimes the elevator in the complex acts up, so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor anyway. We’ve got some regular faces who show up every morning and stay until we close up in the evening. There is a small window that looks out towards the road, but we mostly keep the curtains drawn so the sun doesn't hit the laptop screens. It’s just us doing what we do every day. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and wait for whoever needs a place to sit and study. That is basically the whole story of this spot for us.
