Insignia Career Academy

Started the academy on Station Road because it's easy for everyone to reach. Usually, the morning begins with unlocking the main door and checking if the benches are straight. It gets noisy when the trains go by, but you get used to it. I spend a lot of time looking over the books and making sure the chalkboard is clean. Students come in around noon, mostly from the nearby villages. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep some candles or a battery light ready. It isn't a huge place, just a couple of rooms where we sit and go over lessons. I handle the paperwork at a small desk near the entrance. Most days are just about going through the syllabus and making sure the kids understand the math or the grammar. We don't do anything flashy. It's just a place to study. People stop by to ask about the next batch of classes while I'm eating lunch. I try to explain things simply. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. On rainy days, the water drips a bit near the window, so we move the chairs. It’s a busy spot near the station, and we've been here for a while now. Just a regular school day, every day.
