Travel Torent

Travel Torent is a small setup we have on Teghoria Main Road. It is not one of those big travel agencies you see on TV with huge billboards. We just have a small space where we help people figure out their trips and tickets. Being in Kolkata, especially in an area like Teghoria, means things are always moving fast. We started this because we liked talking to people about where they wanted to go. Sometimes people come in with no idea and we just chat for a bit. It’s mostly just us sitting here with our computers and a few notebooks. The road outside is always loud with autos and buses going toward the airport or down to Rajarhat. We have been here for a bit now, and most of our neighbors know us by name. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who know how the booking systems work. It gets a bit messy with paperwork sometimes, but we manage. If you are walking down the main road, you might miss us if you aren't looking, but we are there. We don't use fancy words or try to sell you things you don't need. We just listen to what you want for your holiday or work trip and see what we can find. It’s pretty straightforward work, really. Just local people helping other local people get where they need to go. We drink a lot of tea while we work.
