Thathi Industries

Our place is at 199, D.H. Road, right in the middle of the Behala area. If you know Kolkata, you know how busy this road gets, especially during the morning rush. We’ve been operating Thathi Industries from here for quite some time now. It’s a bit of an older building, but it does the job for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of whatever machines are running and people talking over the noise of the traffic outside. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us in the back or at one of the desks covered in paperwork. It gets pretty loud sometimes because D.H. Road never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend a lot of time just managing orders and making sure everything is moving out on time. The space is a bit cramped with all the materials we keep on hand, but we manage to find what we need. It’s a very local way of doing things, I guess. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Just a group of people working in Behala, trying to keep up with the daily grind. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how life is in this part of town. It is what it is, and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss.
