A & A Intl

We are up on the third floor of building 16 on N S Road, right in the middle of the Calcutta GPO area. It’s a hectic part of town, and the stairs up to our office can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up again. At A & A Intl, our days are filled with handling paperwork and coordinating things that are moving from one place to another. From our windows, you can see the constant stream of people and yellow taxis down on the street. The office itself is full of folders, staplers, and several old desks that have seen a lot of use. We don’t have any fancy carpets or soft lighting; it’s just a place where we come to get the work done. The walls are a bit bare, maybe a calendar or two hanging up to keep track of the dates. We’ve been in this building for years, and we know the other tenants pretty well. It’s the kind of place where you hear the sounds of the city all day long—the horns, the shouting, the movement. We handle our business directly, speaking to people on the phone or meeting them right here at our desks. It is a straightforward way of working. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the documents are all where they need to be before we head home for the evening.
