You can find us at Office No. 496 on Rabindra Sarani. If you’ve ever walked down this road, you know how loud and crowded it gets with the trams and the rickshaws. Ab Seals & Hydraulics Private Limited has been operating from this building for years. It’s an old part of town, and our office feels like it too. We deal with seals and hydraulic components, so there’s always a bit of oil or rubber smell around the storage area. It’s a busy place. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure we have the right sizes for people who call in. Kolkata weather can be tough, especially in the summer, but the ceiling fans keep us going. We don’t have those glass-walled offices you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s more about shelves full of parts and a few sturdy desks. Most of our clients have been coming to us for a long time, so we often end up chatting about family or the local news while we look up their orders. The building is quite old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it’s home for us during the work week. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the street outside, but that’s just Rabindra Sarani for you. We just focus on getting the right parts to the people who need them. It’s a lot of manual checking but we don't mind.
