Alco Infotech Pvt Ltd is located on Princep Street. Most people in the city know this area as the place to go if you need technical parts or something for your car. We are on the ground floor, right across from the Orient Cinema. That cinema is a good landmark for people trying to find us, even if it has seen much better days. The street outside is always loud with car horns and people yelling to get past each other. Inside the shop, it is a bit quieter, but we are usually kept busy with computer repairs or software issues. We started this whole thing because we actually liked working with technology, and it just eventually turned into a regular business. It is a small space, so it tends to get crowded with cardboard boxes and old spare parts pretty quickly. Having ground floor access is helpful because customers can just walk in with their heavy hardware without having to climb any stairs. Sometimes the heavy rain floods the street a bit, and we have to keep a close eye on the front door. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a bunch of us who know our way around a motherboard. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens or talking on the phone to clients. It is hard work, but it is steady. People just know we are here because we have been in the same spot for so long.
