Shree Ram Tours Travels

Our office is at 5 Hara Chandra Mullick Street, right near the Hari Shabha. It is a busy little corner of the city. We have been running Shree Ram Tours Travels from this small room for a while. It’s mostly just desks, a few phones, and stacks of paper everywhere. We spend the day talking to people about bus tickets or train bookings. Some people want to go to the mountains and others just need a car for a wedding nearby. We have a few drivers we work with regularly. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the temple. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to get back on the computer to check the seat availability. It’s not a fancy travel agency with big posters on the walls. We just have a calendar and a map. People stop by on their way home to ask about prices for trips to Puri or Haridwar. We try to give them the right information without making it too complicated. It’s a lot of phone calls and writing down names and dates in our ledger. We don't really do much online stuff, mostly just face-to-face talk. It gets hot in the summer because the ceiling fan is old, but we stay busy. People know us here because we’ve been around for a long time. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
