Shivsai Tours

Shivsai Tours is located at 42, Matri Mandir Lane in Alambazar. We are tucked away right behind Maha Milan Math, which is a good landmark if you are coming here for the first time. The office isn't very big, but it serves its purpose for our daily work. We handle various travel arrangements for families and individuals. It started out as just a small idea because we liked traveling ourselves, and now it has become a full-time job. Most days are spent dealing with hotel confirmations or trying to find better routes for long-distance trips. The lane gets a bit crowded in the evenings, so we usually tell people to come by in the morning. We have a few old maps on the wall and a desk that has seen better days, but it works for us. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who know the local area and how the transport systems work around here. We try to be honest about what is possible and what isn't when people ask for complicated itineraries. Sometimes we have to tell someone that a certain train is always late or a hotel isn't as good as the pictures look. We would rather people know the truth before they spend their money. Being near the Math means it is usually peaceful in the mornings. We just open up, clean the desks, and start taking calls. We keep a diary of all the bookings manually because sometimes the computer acts up and we don't want to lose track of anyone's plans.
