Semester

Rabindra Pally is where you’ll find us, specifically at D/20/4. Kolkata is a busy place, and it feels even busier when exam season rolls around. We’ve been operating under the name Semester for a while. It’s mostly about helping students get through their courses without losing their minds. The office isn't much to look at, just a lot of papers and books piled up. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to close the windows, even when it's hot. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just us here, making sure people have the notes or materials they need. We spend a lot of time talking to students who are stressed about their finals. It’s a common sight in this neighborhood. We’ve got the old fan that makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. People usually call first to see if we’re around before they walk over. It's better that way. We don’t have a flashy entrance or anything. You just come in, tell us what you’re looking for, and we see if we can help. Being in West Bengal, we know how important these degrees are to families. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the evening. We like it here in Rabindra Pally. It feels like home.
