Scottish Church College

Scottish Church College has an office here at Flat No. 1B in Pronami Apartment. We are located near the Madhyamgram Bazar in Kolkata. Being so close to the bazar means it’s always lively and there is plenty of noise from the vendors and the shoppers throughout the day. Our office is just a regular flat that we use for our administrative stuff. It’s not a big campus building like you might expect from the name. It’s a quiet place where we handle records, student queries, and other bits of paperwork. Sometimes the smell of the market food drifts in through the windows. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of old files. Kolkata is a city with a lot of history and we feel like a small part of it here. We don't have any flashy signs or modern glass walls. It’s just a plain apartment where we get the work done. People come by to drop off documents or ask questions about the college. We talk to them plainly and try to help out as much as we can. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but we like being near the bazaar because it’s convenient for grabbing things on the way home. It’s just a simple, functional space for our daily tasks and it works for us.
