Sarsuna College

Sarsuna College is located down at Ho Chi Minh Sarani in Kolkata. We are part of the local landscape in the 700061 area. It is a typical Kolkata college where things are always moving and there is plenty of conversation. The building is a bit older and shows its age in some spots, but it feels like home to the people who study here. We have students coming from all over the neighborhood and even further out in the city. The classrooms are full of wooden benches and the halls are usually busy with people rushing to their next lecture. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we make do with what we have. It’s a place where you can get a degree in various subjects without too much fuss. There is a lot of history in these walls, and you can feel it when you walk through the entrance. We have a small canteen area where everyone catches up over tea. Life here is about the books and the exams, mostly. It’s a simple, local place that has been serving the community for years. We aren't trying to be a top-tier corporate university; we just want to be a good college for the local residents. If you are looking for us, we are right there on the Sarani, just like we have been for a long time. People here are down to earth and we like it that way. No big marketing budgets, just real teachers and students trying to make something of themselves in this big city.
