Sarkar Tour & Travels

Sarkar Tour & Travels is located on the ground floor on M B Road in Birati. We are in the Kalabagan area, very close to the Kalabagan Bus Stop. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just walk right in from the street. It is a basic office, nothing too fancy. We have some posters of different places on the walls, but they are a bit faded now. We focus on tours and travel arrangements for local families and individuals. Birati is a busy neighborhood, and we feel like a part of the local scene here. The office is usually a bit cluttered with files and brochures. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. It is usually just one of the family members sitting there. We have a small bench for people to sit on while we talk about their plans. The bus stop nearby means there is a constant stream of people outside. We have a small fan that rattles a bit, but it does the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest travel company in Kolkata. We just like helping people see new places. We write out the itineraries by hand sometimes if the printer is acting up. It is a very down-to-earth operation, and we like it that way. No corporate talk, just plain conversation about where you want to go on your next vacation.
