S S Tours & Chowdhury Travels is based out of B A 1 on Rajarhat Road. This is a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic outside our door. We deal with travel bookings, cars, and tours. It started out small and we just kept going. We don't have a big corporate vibe. It is just a regular office where we sit and take calls. People drop by to ask about prices for trips to the hills or maybe just a car for the day. Rajarhat Road is long, so we tell everyone we are at B A 1 to make it easier. We have a few regular drivers we work with. The walls are covered with some old calendars and maps that we’ve had for years. It's a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth works fine for us. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything by phone, which is a bit of a headache. We like talking to the people who come in. You get to hear some interesting stories about where they want to go. We are just a local team trying to keep things moving. We stay open most days unless there's a big festival. It's not a complicated business, just travel stuff for the people around here.
