Rajkala Tours And Travels is up on the 2nd floor at 42/1 B.B Ganguly Street. You have to walk up the stairs since the building is one of those older types that doesn't have a lift. We’ve been in the travel business for a good bit now. Our office is usually full of papers and old ledgers because we still like to keep physical records of things. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when a whole family comes in all at once to talk about a holiday. B.B Ganguly Street is always loud and moving, so it’s quite a contrast when you get inside our office. We spend most of the day on the phone or checking computer screens for deals. We aren't one of those big online sites; we’re just local people who know how to get a booking done right. Sometimes the fans overhead make a bit of a clicking noise, but we’re used to it by now. We help with buses, trains, and cars, basically whatever someone needs to get from one place to another. We don't have a big sales pitch. Usually, people just come in because their neighbor told them we were okay. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. We just stay focused on the tickets and the dates and making sure nobody gets stranded somewhere they don't want to be.
