Rajiv Gandhi Technical University

This place on Judges Court Road in Alipore has a bit of history. People still call it the National Institute Of Management sometimes, but now it is part of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. We are located in West Bengal 700 027. The building is old and has that classic Alipore feel to it. It is a bit damp during the monsoon, and we have to be careful with the old books in the library. We are not a high-tech campus with glass walls. It is more about solid walls and high ceilings. There are a lot of stairs to climb here. We work in the offices and classrooms, managing the technical side of the university’s work in this region. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise, and the pigeons like to sit on the window ledges. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, especially during exam season. It is a busy place but in a quiet, studious kind of way. The garden outside needs a bit of weeding, but the trees provide good shade when it is hot. We are not into fancy titles or big speeches. We just handle the registrations and the course materials as they come. It is a reliable spot where people have been coming for education for a long time, and we just keep that tradition going in our own way. The local tea seller outside knows all our names by now.
