Rainbow Travel & Movies

Rainbow Travel & Movies is located over in Kalindi, specifically at C/6 F/6. If you know the Laketown area, we are pretty close to the Khudiram Statue, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. It’s a bit of a different name, I know, but it’s what we went with when we started. We spend our days tucked away in this part of Kolkata, helping people with their travel plans and whatever else comes up. The office isn't anything too special to look at, but it works for us. Living and working in Kalindi means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet on this street, but then the weekends hit and things pick up. We aren't trying to be some massive agency with a call center or anything like that. It’s just us here. We handle the paperwork and the bookings while drinking way too much tea during the afternoons. The statue is a good reference point for people coming from further away who get lost in the lanes of Laketown. It’s a decent neighborhood to be in. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and most of the locals know where to find the Rainbow shop. We just try to keep things moving and help out anyone who walks through the door looking for a trip or a bit of travel advice. It’s not complicated work, but it keeps us busy.
