Oakridge International Schools

You can find us in Kasba, right on the Rajdanga Main Road. It’s a really busy area with shops and houses all packed in together. The school building sits right in the middle of all that hustle. We don’t have a huge sprawling campus, so we have to make the most of every square foot we’ve got. The stairs are always busy with people going up and down throughout the day. We have a small playground that gets a lot of use during the short breaks between lessons. The classrooms are filled with desks and posters that the students have made over the years. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes because we have so many files and boxes of supplies tucked away in the corners. Most of the staff takes the local buses or walks if they live close by. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall; we just try to keep the kids focused and the bells ringing on time. The traffic on Rajdanga Main Road can be a real headache during the morning rush, so we always tell parents to leave a little early. In the afternoons, the street is full of people waiting near the gate. It’s just a regular local school trying to do its best with what we have. We spend a lot of time fixing leaky taps or replacing light bulbs, just the usual building stuff that never seems to end.
