Running a photography business like Nitesh Photography Emami Ltd. from an apartment at Club Town Residence can be a bit tricky sometimes. We’re located at 57/C Mm Feeder Road, specifically in Block No.3, Flat No.3. It’s not a huge studio with bright lights on every corner, but it works for what we do. Most of our work happens on location anyway, at weddings or events around the city. When we are back at the flat, it’s mostly just hours of looking at screens and sorting through thousands of files. My desk is usually covered in hard drives and half-empty tea cups. The neighbors know us because of the gear we carry up and down the stairs. It’s a quiet block for the most part, which helps when you need to focus. I’ve been taking pictures for years, long before it became a full-time thing. The lighting in the flat is actually pretty decent in the afternoon. We don't have a big sign outside or anything fancy. It’s just where we live and work. Sometimes family members are in the next room while I’m trying to finish an edit for a client. It's a bit of a squeeze but it feels like home. MM Feeder Road is usually busy, so getting in and out with all the camera bags can be a chore. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the photos look right before sending them off. It's not a corporate gig, just us.
