Studio Sangam Haider Photography

Started doing this because of a love for the camera. We are up on the first floor in Kamarhati. It's not a fancy place, just a room where we keep the tripods and backdrops. Most days we are cleaning lenses or waiting for a family to come in for their portraits. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a big wedding party shows up to check their photos. We have been here for a while now. The stairs can be a bit steep but people find us eventually. We do passport photos mostly, and some local events when someone asks. It is hard work standing on your feet all day looking through a tiny viewfinder. The lighting in here took some time to get right. We try to keep things simple. No big promises, just taking the pictures and printing them out on the machine in the corner. Sometimes the printer acts up, but we fix it. You can see our name on the board outside. It's just a regular studio where we do our thing. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the gear. Kamarhati is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We just stay focused on the work at hand. It might not be the most modern setup you have ever seen, but it gets the job done for the folks around here.
