Snapzzz Avijit Mondal Photography

I’m Avijit Mondal and I run this photography business called Snapzzz. My studio is located at 104 B.T. Road in the Danhoodhgly part of Kolkata. It’s right on the main road, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. The studio isn't very large, but it has enough room for my cameras, some lights, and a computer where I spend way too many hours editing. I do all kinds of photography. Sometimes it’s a wedding, sometimes it’s just a simple passport photo or a family portrait. I don't really use any big words to describe what I do. I just pick up the camera and try to get a decent shot that people will like. Being on B.T. Road is good because it’s easy for people to find me, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. I usually work alone, though for big events, I have a few guys who help me out. It’s a lot of work carrying the bags and setting everything up. I’ve lived in this city all my life and I think that helps me understand what people are looking for. I don't have any fancy awards on the wall. I just have my photos and my gear. It’s a simple life and I enjoy the variety of people I get to meet while I'm working in the Danhoodhgly area.
