New Testy Appayan Caterer & Traveller

New Testy Appayan Caterer & Traveller is tucked into the Angana Super Market at number 490. This is on M B Road in Kolkata, right near Banik More. We do two things here: catering and travel. It might seem like an odd mix, but it works for us. We spend half our time thinking about food menus and the other half looking at travel itineraries. The market is always busy, so there is a lot of noise and energy around us. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. When we are doing the catering side, we are busy with pots, pans, and ingredients. Then we switch over to the travel side and start booking tickets. It keeps the days interesting. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just show up and do the work that needs doing for the day. If someone has a wedding coming up, we talk about the food. If they want a holiday, we talk about the destination. Being near Banik More means people can find us easily while they are out doing their regular shopping. The office isn't very big, but we have enough space for our files and a few chairs for visitors who want to sit and talk. We just like being useful to the people in the neighborhood. It is a simple life of managing events and trips from our little corner in the supermarket. We hope to stay here for many more years.
