We've been here at the Uttarayan Building for a while now. Shop number 16 is where we sit. It's right across from the Axis Bank on Dum Dum Road. People usually find us easily because of that landmark. It’s just a small space where we handle train tickets and flight bookings. Mostly, folks from the neighborhood stop by after finishing their bank work or while heading home. We deal with all kinds of travel plans, whether it's a short trip or something further away. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we get things done eventually. It’s a busy road outside, lots of traffic and noise from the buses. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while we check the schedules on the computer. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical one with old maps on the wall and a few calendars. We try to keep track of the latest train timings because they change so often. If you’re walking down Dum Dum Road, you’ll see our sign. We keep the shop open till late evening most days because that’s when people have time to talk about their holidays. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone finishes work. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They come in just to ask about prices or see if a certain train is running. It's just us here, working through the daily bookings and helping people figure out where they want to go next.
