You can find us over at 37 Strand Road. This building has seen a lot of years go by. We keep a lot of stock here for mills and various industrial setups. It’s mostly hardware, spare parts, and those bits and pieces that people can’t find anywhere else. The shelves are pretty tall and sometimes dusty, but we know exactly where everything is located. If you need a specific bolt or a heavy-duty belt, we probably have it tucked away somewhere in the back. Working in this part of town means dealing with the noise and the crowds every single day. It’s a bit chaotic outside, but inside we just focus on the orders. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. People just walk in, tell us what they’re looking for, and we go find it. My father used to run things similarly, and not much has changed since then. We use paper ledgers for a lot of things still because it works for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the doors for light. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling the parts that keep other businesses moving. It’s a steady kind of life. Most of our customers have been coming to us for twenty years or more. They know we’re here and they know what we have. That’s enough for us to keep the doors open and the items moving.
