If you’ve ever waited for a bus there, you’ve probably seen our sign. Salt Lake is a planned area, so it’s a bit quieter than other parts of Kolkata, which we like. We’ve been operating from this AE block for a good while. It’s a local business, through and through. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a lobby. It’s just a place where we get work done. People from around the block come in when they’re planning a trip. We handle the bookings and the boring paperwork that most people don’t want to deal with. Sometimes the printer acts up or the internet goes slow, but we manage. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent travel desk. We know the bus stop area very well. It’s a busy little corner of Salt Lake. We see the same people every day walking by. It’s nice being part of the community here. We don’t do big promotions or anything. People just know where we are. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work fine for everyone involved. We just keep things moving along.
