Our place, Maa Tara Travels And Catering Services, is tucked away at Dd 12/1 on Deshbandhu Road. We are quite close to Rail Pukur and the Nabatarun Sangha Club, which is a big landmark around here in Deshbandhunagar. It’s a bit of a double job for us since we handle both travel bookings and catering for events. It keeps us very busy. One minute we are talking about car rentals and the next we are figuring out a menu for a small party or a gathering. It can be a bit chaotic sometimes in the office, especially when we have a lot of orders coming in at once. We started this because we saw people needed both things, and it just made sense to do them together. We aren't a high-end fancy firm. We are just local people serving other local people. Our kitchen is where most of the action happens for the catering side, and the front desk handles the travel stuff. It’s a lot of work, and we don't always get everything exactly right on the first try, but we fix it. We know the neighbors well and they know where to find us if they need a ride or some food for a house function. It’s a practical business. We just show up every day and do what needs doing. Being near the club means there is always something going on.
