Maa Laxmi Travels is sitting right on the ground floor on BT Road, near the ISI area. We are very close to the Bata Showroom, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Being on BT Road means we see a lot of traffic and people passing by all day long. It’s a busy spot. Our office is small and we’ve kept it pretty basic over the years. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and travel seemed like something people always need help with. It’s usually just us here, answering the phone or talking to someone who walked in off the street. We deal with all kinds of travel bookings. Some days are slow and we just watch the buses go by on BT Road, and other days we can't even find a moment to have tea. We don't use any fancy systems, just our computers and the knowledge we’ve picked up over time. It’s a practical business. We don't make big promises, we just look at what’s available and tell you the price. Sometimes the printers act up or the phones go dead, but we find a way to get the job done. We are just regular people helping other regular people get their travel sorted out without any unnecessary fuss or complicated talk.
