Learn Way

Learn Way is located in the Nutanpally area of Titagarh, Kolkata 700119. It’s a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to the center of the city. We operate out of a small space that we've converted into a learning area for the kids. It isn't anything elaborate or expensive. We have some plastic chairs and a few long tables where the students sit together to study. Most of the children who come here are from the families living right around Nutanpally. We started this because there weren't many places nearby where kids could go for extra tuition. It's a very informal environment here. Sometimes the students stay a bit longer just to talk or finish their homework because it's quieter here than at their own homes. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to see the local kids do well in their school tests. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the floor is a bit worn out from all the feet, but it's a place where learning happens every day. We handle primary and middle school subjects mostly. It’s just me and another person who helps out with the younger ones. We don't do much advertising; usually, someone just brings their neighbor’s kid along after they hear about us from others in the street. It is a very simple, local way of doing things, and it seems to work for us. We try to keep it friendly.
