Laxmi Tour & Travel Service

We are located at 17/5B Satchsi Para Road. This part of Kolkata, with the 700002 pincode, has a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and busy. Laxmi Tour & Travel Service has been here for a while. We aren't a huge travel agency with branches all over the country. We just have this one spot where we handle everything. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, maybe. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to hotels or checking on car availability for our customers. People usually come to us because they want to go on a pilgrimage or a small family vacation and they don't want to deal with the online sites that sometimes get things wrong. We sit down with them, have some tea, and figure out the itinerary. It’s not always fast, but we try to be thorough. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and chairs and a lot of registers. We don't have a marketing team or anyone writing slogans for us. We just work. If a car doesn't show up or a hotel has a problem, we’re the ones who have to fix it, so we try to be careful from the start. It’s a simple business run by regular people who know the value of a hard-earned holiday. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know our faces.
