Kundu Tour & Travels

Our office is at 270 B T Road, right near the Sindhi Curious Maedan area. B T Road is always noisy and crowded, so it is easy to find us if you are passing through this part of Kolkata. Kundu Tour & Travels is basically a small team of us working out of this space. We spend most of our time looking at maps or talking to people about where they want to go for their holidays. It is a bit of a hectic job sometimes because things change fast. A car might get stuck or a train is late, so we are always on the phone. We have been here for some time now and many people in the neighborhood know us by name. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, it is just people walking in because they saw the sign while heading towards the Maedan. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to sit and plan. We keep some old calendars on the wall and a lot of paperwork on the desk. Every morning we open up and check which bookings are for today. It is a practical business. We deal with buses, cars, and hotel bookings. Nothing too fancy, just the basic stuff people need for a trip. We try to be honest about what is possible and what isn't. It keeps things simple for everyone and keeps the daily work moving.
