We’re tucked away at 4 Swinhoe Street. It’s a nice enough area, not too loud, though the street gets busy during the afternoon hours. If you walk inside, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the smell of all the different tea leaves we keep here. It’s a very distinct scent that kind of sticks to your clothes by the end of the day. We aren't a big factory or a cold office. It’s more of a workspace where we spend time blending and tasting things. The shelves are packed with tins and jars of all sizes. Sometimes it looks a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We don't really bother with fancy decorations. The walls are mostly just covered with notes and calendars. Most of us here just really like tea and the process of putting it all together. It’s a lot of manual work, weighing things out and sealing bags. We take our time with it because rushing doesn't help with the flavor. Sometimes we sit around the main table and try out a new batch to see if it’s any good. It’s a small team, and we’ve all been doing this for long enough that we don't need to say much to each other to get the job done. It’s a comfortable, honest way to spend the day.
